Evan and Gina Buchholz own Cleveland-Heath in Edwardsville. Market & Main is their newest chapter, right here in Troy.
Gina grew up in Troy, so this is not just a new restaurant. It is coming home. A room they get to build from the ground up, with a bigger kitchen and a different idea.
Evan Buchholz
A Le Cordon Bleu graduate with more than twenty years in professional kitchens. Formerly executive chef at Rustico Restaurant in Virginia, Rosa Mexicano in Washington DC, and Perennial on Lockwood in Missouri. His cooking is rooted in local farms and made-from-scratch craft.
Gina Buchholz
More than fifteen years of restaurant management at Rustico Restaurant in Virginia, Port City Brewing Company in Virginia, and Old Bakery Beer Company in Illinois. Her warmth and precision make every guest feel at home from the moment they walk in.
Built from
the ground up.
Cleveland-Heath was someone else's restaurant first. Evan and Gina took it over, kept what mattered, and brought back the dishes that made it. They love that room.
Market & Main is different. This is their concept from day one, in Gina's hometown, with the bigger kitchen Evan has been thinking about for fifteen years.
Cleveland-Heath belongs in Edwardsville. We're going to be something else out here.

The Market & Main address used to be the American Legion Post 708. Brick, single story, big front. They kept the brick and put a roll-up garage door across the front of the dining room.
Eighty seats inside. When the weather is right, the door rolls up and Main Street comes in. A larger kitchen than Cleveland-Heath, and a bar built for a cold beer or a pour of something interesting.
Dinner runs Tuesday through Saturday. Walk in, or call ahead.
